It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and although it doesn't have certain features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great option if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save some hundred dollars. The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes down to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it a great choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It is also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a place where many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent too, with very little missing in corners and along walls. This feature isn't essential for everyone, but it can help to keep the robot's maintenance schedules. 3. Narwal Freo X Ultra The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are among the best on the market however, it's also expensive. Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and its dimensions are quite small. But the station's main selling feature is the way it automatizes numerous tasks and functions that other robots leave up to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot clean and charged. And its vacuuming is impressive as well. It's the only robovac I've tested that does an excellent job of removing dirt from floors that aren't. It's also not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980. The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, which means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas of the house. It's not able climb stairs as well as some competitors, for instance and doesn't come with a dock that allows you to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.
